Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Just Some People (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.justsomepeople.com (the “Site”) or get in touch with us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, your answers to the qualifying questions (such as the services you’re interested in, timeline, and budget range), and any optional message you include.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers automatically log limited technical data when you visit — for example your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and the date and time of your request. This helps us keep the Site secure and working properly.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you request.
- To understand your project needs and prepare a relevant reply.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- To measure the performance of our marketing and advertising, and to understand which campaigns bring people to the Site.
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. See “We do not sell your information” below for the full details.
Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm that form submissions come from real people rather than bots. Turnstile may collect data about your interaction and device to make this assessment. Its use is governed by Cloudflare’s privacy policy, available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Service providers we share with
We share information only with the providers that help us run the Site and respond to you. These include:
- Form processing — contact submissions are delivered through justsomeforms.com so we receive your message.
- Hosting — the Site is hosted on Vercel, which processes technical request data on our behalf.
- Security — Cloudflare Turnstile, as described above.
- Fonts — typefaces are self-hosted on our own servers, so no third-party font provider receives your information.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels, tags, and local storage) to operate the Site, keep it secure, understand how it’s used, and measure the performance of our advertising. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; note that blocking some may affect how the Site works.
Advertising and conversion tracking
We run paid advertising campaigns and may use advertising and analytics services — such as Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — that place cookies or pixels to measure ad performance, attribute conversions, and show relevant ads to you on other platforms. These providers may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view, and may combine it with information they already hold under their own privacy policies.
You can opt out of personalized advertising here:
- Google — My Ad Center and Analytics Opt-out.
- Meta — ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
- Industry tools — YourAdChoices (DAA) and NAI Opt-out.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never have. We also do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for valuable consideration. Some privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) — define “sale” and “sharing” broadly enough to include certain advertising cookies. To the extent that applies, you can opt out using the advertising controls above, by emailing us at hello@justsomepeople.com, or through your browser’s Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor where required by law. We will not discriminate against you for opting out.
Data retention
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate business records, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see “Your rights”).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@justsomepeople.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
